Will a Woman Take AJ Benza’s Place on High Stakes Poker?

Rumors have been circulating non-stop about who will be replacing AJ Benza as co-host for the popular Game Show Network television show High Stakes Poker. Benza was let go recently and none too happy about it. Since then, rumors have surfaced that a female will be replacing Benza as co-host.

First Vanessa Rousso was rumored to be taking the spot as co-host alongside Gabe Kaplan but that was denied. Now rumors have surfaced that Kara Scott, a UK based poker presenter will be taking up the hosting gig.

Scott as the replacement makes sense as she has a history as a presenter and certainly knows the poker industry. Scott has recently been working with Matchroom on UK based shows. Scott is closely linked with PokerStars which is the new sponsor of High Stakes Poker so it could definitely be in the cards that Scott will be the new host.

I guess we will just have to wait and see who GSN reports as their new co-host. Personally I think a woman would be welcome on the show and make for a nice change of scenery!
