Poker Podcast Talks Up Women’s Poker

Dianna Donofrio, well known in the poker industry as a talented tournament organizer and public relations aficionado has launched a new podcast focusing on women poker players.  It is now available on, a channel on

Listeners will be treated to a wealth of poker information as Donofrio brings her interviewing flair to the scene as she speaks with the world’s prominent women poker players.  Her first interviewees will include Evelyn Ng, Jan Fisher and Linda Johnson (most notably the first lady of poker).  The podcast will also serve as a vehicle for women not only interested in becoming poker pros, but those who are striving to become executives in the ever-growing poker and gaming industry.   There are many successful women in what is becoming passe’ – a man’s world; with Dianna being one of those women.

Since 1985, Dianna has brought her business savviness to the poker industry.  She began running satellites for all major poker tournaments in Southern California and Las Vegas.  The famed Legends of Poker Tournament at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California began as her baby.  Donofrio went on to the position of Satellite Director for the 2005 WSOP and for the 2006 WSOP she was the Pay-Out Manager.

Donofrio is currently a public relations executive with DGHoldings, Ltd., a privately-held international investment group that has a successful online gaming platform division.  With her forte being in the organization of Charity Poker Tournaments for DG Holdings, she says these tournaments are the principal focus in helping to raise much needed funds for major businesses and organizations.
