Vanessa Rousso is a top poker pro who has done very well for herself this past year in live tournaments. The poker pro (and GoDaddy-sponsored hottie) recently competed in the WPT Five Diamond and made it to the final table where she earned a third place finish.

The World Poker Tour Five Diamond Tournament was full of top competitors who wanted to make it to the final table. The best of the best competed in the tournament and once it got down to final table play the competition become fierce.  News portals like Poker News had massive updates throughout the tournament, with webmasters at other sites like 2+2 and GamblingNavigator.com followed the action intently.

The Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas hosted the event and by day two Antonio Esfandiari had earned an early chip lead. He managed to hold on to his lead until the top fifteen players were left in the competition. However it was at this point that Vanessa Rousso was able to take the lead from Esfandiari after he tried to bluff her on a hand. Rousso then held the lead and both her and Esfandiari would make the final table of the competition after a few more players were knocked out.

In the end Vanessa Rousso was able to make it to third place and Esfandiari was able to earn the first place finish after beating Andrew Robl in heads up play. Rousso earned a nice pay day for her efforts, just over $350,000, and she showed that women can still hang with the boys at the poker table!  For more information on the tourney or casino faqs in general, check out the final results below.
